How long after I order will I recieve my sets?
- We want to be able to get your order to you as soon as possible so we keep a small number of each set in stock. Your order will be processed and booked with the courier within 3 days.
* This time frame will be longer during our busy seasons such as Christmas and Easter.*
- Local Courier to areas in Cape Town take 1-3 days.
- Courier to all other main towns and cities take 3-4 days.
- Courier to outlying areas takes 3-5 days.
*If you need your order by a specific date please notify us when you place your order and we will try our best to assist you.
*Proof of payment must be received before orders are sent out.
How long does the Playdough last?
All our playdough is handmade by us using food grade ingredients. We then add essential oils or food flavouring to make it smell amazing!
The playdough is wrapped in clingfilm and then popped into a small plastic bag before being added to the boxes.
Once your little one has finished being creative pop the dough back into the bag, twist to seal and then pop it back into the container and it should last 6 months or more!
The dough actually lasts longer the more it is played with, I have dough that is over a year old that my kiddies still regularly play with and its still going strong!
If not sealed, your dough may get a little crispy (that will be the salt) just knead it in and add a few drops of water if needed.
Your dough may change colour (this will happen if left in the sun) just knead it and it will be as good as new!
**We advise using the playdough straight away and not storing indefinitely, so its best to order as and when you intend to use them.**
If you do intend to keep the Playdough Sets for gifts at a later stage, store the dough in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight until you need them.
How do you play with a Themed Playdough Set?
There is no right or wrong way to play with a Themed Playdough Set.
Some children will create scenes and then act out that scene by role playing.
The stickers on the front of the box have scenes that your child can copy if he/she wishes to.
Some children will simply play with the dough and the accessories separately.
Or mush the accessories into the dough creating a sensory heaven!
With no right or wrong way to play, the outcome is always a positive one.
